Privacy policy
What we ask for, what we use it for, and how to ask us to delete it.

The essentials
We only handle the details you send us so that we can reply. We do not sell them or pass them to anyone for commercial purposes.
The contact form does not send your details to any server of ours: it composes the message on your own phone or computer and hands it to WhatsApp or to your email app. Until you press send there, we have received nothing.
Who is responsible
Horizonte Sport, in Grecia, Costa Rica.
For anything to do with your data: info@horizontesport.com or +506 7124 3165.
What we ask for
On the form: name, email, phone, country, the programme you are interested in and your message. All of it is needed to give you a useful answer.
If you write via WhatsApp, we see your number, whatever name you have set and what you tell us. That conversation happens inside WhatsApp and is also governed by that app’s terms.
If you write by email, we receive your address and the contents of your message.
What we use it for
To reply, to follow up and, if you decide to join a programme, to organise your participation. Nothing else.
We do not build profiles, we do not send advertising and we do not share your information with third parties for commercial purposes.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies to make the site work and, with your permission, to understand which sections are useful. Nothing beyond the necessary is enabled without your accepting it. The detail is in the Cookie policy.
Who we share data with
Only with the providers needed to keep the site available and the contact channels working. Some are outside Costa Rica, which means certain technical data is processed in other countries under equivalent safeguards.
When you write to us via WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, those platforms handle your data under their own policies, which we do not control.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that go nowhere: up to two years, in case you pick it back up.
- Details of people joining a programme: for as long as the relationship lasts and for whatever period the law requires afterwards.
- Photographs: while permission stands and no one asks for them to be removed.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to tell you what data of yours we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can also withdraw permission you gave us earlier.
Write to info@horizontesport.com and we will get back to you. You do not need to give a reason or use any particular wording.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can go to the data protection authority that covers you. In Costa Rica that is PRODHAB.
Minors
Several programmes are for athletes under 18. In those cases the details and the permissions come from a parent or guardian, and it is that person who can ask for any of the things above.
Photographs
We publish photos from tournaments and training sessions.
- Action or group photos, with no name in the caption, are published as part of promoting the sport.
- A portrait with a full name is published only with the express permission of the person or their guardian.
- We do not publish the list of participants. Figures are shown as totals and by club, without names.
If you appear in a photo and want it taken down, write to us saying which page it is on. You do not have to explain why.
Changes
If any of the above changes, we update this page and its date.
